Work with usRolston Leadership Group was built on a simple belief. The gap between a good manager and a trusted leader is smaller than most people think. It just takes the right tools, honest conversations, and someone in your corner who has actually been there. That is what Andy and Lynn Rolston bring to every organisation they work with.
Andy spent over 20 years building and running his own businesses. Before that, he coached rugby across New Zealand, Canada, and England. Those two worlds taught him the same thing: when trust breaks down between a leader and their team, performance follows.
He is a Maxwell Leadership certified coach and trainer, has spent five years inside the global seminar industry working alongside some of the world’s leading speakers, and has delivered leadership programmes to managers and executives across a wide range of industries.
Andy works with leaders who want to close the gap between what they intend and what their people actually experience. Direct, practical, and no interest in programmes that feel good in the room but change nothing by Monday morning.
Lynn’s background is in sales and education, a combination that turns out to be exactly right for the work she does. She homeschooled all three of her children through to university, which gives her a rare and practical understanding of how people learn, grow, and build confidence over time.
She spent years as Branch Development Manager for Thermomix NZ, designing and delivering training to consultants and team leaders across the country. Since joining the Maxwell Leadership certified team in 2018, she has specialised in the Maxwell Method of DISC, a behavioural communication tool applied through a leadership lens.
Lynn describes herself as an introvert who genuinely loves people. She listens well, asks the right questions, and creates the kind of space where people say the things they have not known how to say before.

A manager joins the Manager2Leader programme with Andy, then does a DISC session with Lynn. They leave knowing how they lead and how their team needs to be led.
