Book a SessionWhat Is a Lunch and Learn Session?
Most professional development sits behind a long approval process, a training budget, and a calendar that never quite clears. These sessions remove all of that.
You bring the room. We bring the content. Your managers and team leaders get 30 to 60 minutes of practical, story-driven leadership thinking they can act on straight away. No slides full of theory. No generic advice. Just the kind of content that changes how people lead on Monday morning.
Available anywhere in New Zealand. In-person only. Suited to teams of any size.
Three Topics. Three Different Conversations.
Closing the Trust Gap
Most teams do not have a performance problem. They have a trust problem.
When the gap opens between what leaders intend and what their people actually experience, teams go quiet and momentum stalls. This session gets to the root of why it happens and gives leaders the exact tools to close it.
- Why good leaders lose the trust of their team without realising it
- The SWARM framework and how stepping outside it changes everything
- Three actions built around Clarity, Consistency and Connection to apply immediately
Everyone Communicates. Few Connect.
Talking and connecting are not the same thing. Most managers only do one of them well.
Based on John Maxwell’s work, this session shows leaders why their message is not landing the way they think it is, and gives them a practical way to close that gap with every person on their team.
- The difference between communicating and genuinely connecting with people
- Why the same message lands differently depending on who hears it
- Practical tools to communicate in a way that builds trust instead of eroding it
High Road Leadership
Leading with integrity is easy when things are going well. This session is about what happens when they are not.
Based on John Maxwell’s research into what separates leaders who hold their teams together under pressure from those who do not. Timely, grounded, and immediately relevant to any organisation navigating change or uncertainty.
- Why character under pressure is the real test of leadership
- What high road leaders do differently when the stakes are high
- How to build a culture where doing the right thing is the default, not the exception

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there really no cost for this?
Yes. These sessions are complimentary. They are designed to give your team something genuinely useful and to give us the chance to show you what we do. There is no obligation to book anything further.
What size groups do you work with?
Any size. We have delivered sessions to small leadership teams and to whole-of-organisation groups. Let us know roughly how many people will be in the room and we will tailor the delivery to suit.
Do you travel outside Auckland?
Yes. We deliver these sessions anywhere in New Zealand. If your team is outside Auckland, mention it when you book a call and we will sort the details.
How long does a session take?
Between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the topic and what suits your team’s schedule. We will confirm the exact length when we book the date.
Can we book more than one session?
Yes. Some organisations start with one topic and bring us back for the others over time. Each session stands on its own, so there is no set order to work through them.
What happens after the session?
Nothing you do not ask for. The session is designed to stand on its own. If your organisation wants to go further, we can talk about Manager2Leader or the Maxwell Leadership Game, but there is no pressure either way.
Ready to Bring This to Your Team?
It starts with a short call. We will find the right session for your people and lock in a date that works for you.
